The “MF Cup” match is traditionally held each year between La Posada and Saydo Bowls Clubs and is played over 2 legs, one at home and one away. With 4 rinks of triples played at each venue, the scoring method was 2 points for a rink win plus 2 bonus points for a win on the aggregate scores.

The first leg was played at La Posada on 10th May and resulted in a win for La Posada on all 4 rinks, with an overall aggregate score win of 100 shots to Saydo’s 52. So, 10 points for La Posada carried over to the next leg.

The second leg was played at Saydo on 14th May and, again, this resulted in a win for La Posada on all 4 rinks, with an overall aggregate score win of 97 shots to 56.

Final result therefore was a resounding win for La Posada by 20 points to nil.
